EEPOT Dump:
updated 2/19/98

What is EEPOT Dump?

EEPOT Dump is a RefleX service utility that displays the current location of all the EEPOTs.  This is equivalent to knowing the position of a trim board pot found on older controllers.

How Do I Get There?

  1. Press the service utilities button.
  2. Enter in password.  This is the last 5 digits of the machine serial number reversed.  Press the Done key.
  3. Press the EEPOT Dump button.

How Do I Interpret The Results?

All EEPOTs in RefleX have a range from 0 to 63.  If an EEPOT is set to either 0 or 63 we say that the EEPOT is "saturated low" or "saturated high" respectively.  This is usually an indication of a problem.  In an ideal world, all pots, would be set to 31.  This however is usually not the case and you should expect to see values between 12 and 51.  Values outside of this range may represent a possible problem in that axes encoder system.

When should I do an EEPOT Dump?

An EEPOT Dump should be performed after all axes have been aligned and the machine has been AutoTuned.
