VOLCOMP LOAD (Doflex)

Warning - The doflex program is proprietary information that is not to be distributed under any circumstances.

          Doflex.exe is a DOS PC program that downloads comp files and system parameter files to the RefleX electronics. It will also retrieve the comp file from the RefleX electronics box and store it in a file called VOL.ASC. The following are some requirements necessary to perform these tasks:

1. The RefleX box:   Complete, plugged in and running with display, keypad and measurement system electronics.
2. RefleX software card: Installed and running.
3. A DOS PC with INT14.COM and DOFLEX.EXE running.
4. A 9 pin, dual female RS232 cable Installed between RefleX box COM1 and the PC's COM1 ports. (80-418-248)

INSTALLING DOFLEX:

1. Make a sub directory for the Doflex Utility.
2. Add this sub directory to the path in AUTOEXEC.BAT
3. Copy INT14.COM & DOFLEX.EXE into this subdirectory.

Create the following batch file: (DOF.BAT)

TO DOWNLOAD A COMP FILE:

1. At the RefleX box, enter the SERVICE UTILITIES menu by pressing the AMBULANCE button and entering the password.
2. Select the DUMPER button.   '...Waiting...' will be displayed. The RefleX box is now ready.
3. At the PC, insure that INT14 is loaded then run DOFLEX.
4. Heed the warning and press 'C' to continue or 'E' to exit the program.
5. Pressing 'C' will display the main menu.
6. To download a comp file press '1' and the default filename 'comp.asc' will appear.
7. Enter the desired filename or select the default and press ENTER.
8. The file will download immediately. Pausing periodically due to hand shaking between the RefleX box and the PC.
9. Watch the RefleX display for the results of the download.
10. When the download is complete press any button on the RefleX box and RefleX software will return to the initial screen.

TO DOWNLOAD A SYSTEM PARAMETER FILE:

1. Repeat steps 1 through 5 above.
2. To download a system parameter file press '2' and the default filename 'sysparam.dat' will appear.
3. Enter the desired filename or select the default and press ENTER.
4. The file will download immediately.
5. When complete the RefleX software will return to the initial screen.

TO RETRIEVE THE COMP FILE FROM THE RefleX BOX:

1. Repeat steps 1 through 5 above.
2. To upload a comp file press '3'
3. The file will upload immediately.
4. Watch the RefleX  and PC displays for the results of the upload.
5. When complete the file will be stored on the PC as 'VOL.ASC' and the RefleX software will return to the initial screen.
